Import Animation

This script gets Gestures from one mesh/skeleton and creates Gestures for other meshes which have a similar skeleton. It can also import skeleton-based Pose Tracks as either Pose tracks or Skeleton Shape distortion tracks. In either case, it is purely the skeleton deformation that is imported, not any vertex movement (i.e. morphing).

The object receiving the gestures must have the same skeleton structure. The bone lengths need not be identical (if not, keep Copy Bone Lengths unchecked) but the angles will need to be.

To use: select at least 2 mesh objects, the one that has set of gestures/Pose Tracks already in it that you want to import, and the others are meshes that you want to import them into. Run this script and select which single object to import from and one or more objects to import to. If you leave the remaining fields blank, you will then be prompted to choose a set of gestures to import. If, however, you check the Import Pose Tracks checkbox, all gestures will be imported by default. In this case, select whether you want to create Pose Tracks or Skeleton Shape Tracks for the objects. You will then be prompted for the Pose Tracks you want to import.
